Yes it is Thanksgiving this week and I’m just now posting about Halloween.
This year we had lots to do for Halloween. Katie and Brady both got dressed up and went to Boo-fest held at the local park. Businesses from around town set up booths and give out free stuff. It was hard keeping both kids in line by myself without a stroller but we survived.
We then ventured out to our ward Trunk or Treat. We gave away 2 bags of candy and ate yummy chili as part of the chili cook off. The kids even had a good time in the spook alley.
On Halloween day Katie dressed up for her preschool party in yet a different costume and gathered even more candy. That night we waited for some trick or treaters but finally elected to take the kids out. It was really cold and only 3 of our neighbor’s were actually giving out candy. It gave us a good excuse to go home early. In the end no one came to the house and I was left with 2 full bags of candy. GRR.
