Warm Weather

The weather finally warmed up enough that I could take Katie outside without a jacket. Yes it was a fleeting moment because it is snowing today but it was fun while it lasted. Fridays are spent with my mom running errands because she doesn't have to work Fridays. She calls it Grandma's day. This last Friday my mom really spoiled Katie, she bought her some cute sunglasses to enjoy the weather and a walker to give her a little more independence. Which is making my life a lot easier. Katie has a little more independence and I have more time to get things done. She didn't really know how to work the walker at first but 3 days later she can go anywhere she wants and turn around if she gets into a corner. My baby girl is so smart. Poor Katie

So our baby girl is 5 months old and she started the month getting sick. She ran a fever of 101 for 3 days. Then the fever went away only to have her break out in a rash. 36 hrs later the rash was gone but she didn't want to eat. Of course this was taking place over a weekend and I was able to talk to her doctor but he couldn't see her until Monday. Monday came along and she was eating like a horse. I called and canceled her apt because there was nothing to say was wrong. She had a fever, rash, and difficulty eating but now she doesn't. How lame would I sound. In the end she was sick and now she is better. It will forever be a mystery. I on the other hand can tell you exactly what is wrong with me. I sliced my finger doing the dishes. Lucky me right!

My Birthday.

I had a great birthday! I spent the day shopping with my mom, Katie and my grandma. I found a killer deal on some shoes and got a new pair of brown dress pants. We went and had lunch at Tucanos where I ate myself silly. The food was fabulous!! Plus Katie helped me with the laundry when we got home. It wasn't too crazy. I didn't even blow out candles. In fact I can't remember the last time I had a birthday cake with candles.
Maybe next year.

Valentines day

Since my last post we had a great Valentines Day. Rick actually got off work early and we made some killer fajitas for dinner. It was really nice. He brought me flowers and Katie the cutest small white and blue stuffed puppy dog. He said he got it because she was too small for candy, flowers, or jewelry. It was really cute!
