LMU’s Basketball team is doing really well this year and we decided to check out a game the other night. Katie had a great time. She was into watching the players go up and down the court, but she was really more interested in eating as much popcorn as she could. Brady’s first experience for a Basketball game didn’t go as smoothly. He was sleeping and when they announced the national anthem the speaker was so loud it jolted him out of his sleep. I’m always cranky when I get woken before I’m ready so I can’t blame the kid for being fussy afterwards.
Rick has also been working on a friend’s car in his limited free time. Katie joins him when she can. She received a tool set for Christmas and could wait to use them on the car.
Rick has been working with Brady to teach him to roll over. Katie mastered this at 4 months. Rick thinks Brady has to do the same. I’m not sure I’m ready for a mobile child. I do have to say it is starting to work though. I had to catch Brady be for he rolled off the couch and some nights I find him laying width wise in his bassinet. He must roll/wiggle in his sleep.
Brady has also taken to watching a movie with Katie in the afternoon. He loves his sister and just watches her like a hawk. He acts like he wants to be just like her.
Katie is chewing on her thumb in this picture because she was getting a new molar and her mouth hurt.
I also bought a bubble machine. It is really noisy but shoots out a ton of bubbles. Brady even enjoys looking at the bubbles as they float towards his face.
Katie was so tired the other day she was asleep in Grandpa’s arms and didn’t want to wake up.
It was darling.
