Slide mommy please.

We set up a slip and slide for the kids one day. They had a great time sliding down our little hill. One of the best things about summer is playing in water.

First Swimming Lessons

June 2014 Katie and Brady both took their first swimming lessons. The place we took the lessons were not the best. The pool was not heated. They would shiver most of the lesson. That is because they have no fat on their little bodies. They did learn to do a front crawl and the basic safety rules.  It was a chore keeping Trevor out of the water because he was too little. 

In June I took my cub scouts out for a hike. One of the boy's family joined us. It was really hot but everyone did well. I was proud of my scouts and my little boys for not whining the entire time.  It is definitely not the same as hiking in Utah though.

Kindergarten graduation

Katie loved everything about Kindergarten at Terrace View Elem. Her class performed a cute program for her graduation ceremony. It was "1st grade, 1st grade" to the tune of "New York, New York." They then had a slideshow. The boys had a good time showing their love and support to their sister. We made sure to get a picture with her teacher and Aaron (the little boy who had a crush on her).
