This past weekend was really busy for us. First our friends Nate Caldwell and Haley Youd came to play with us. Rick was happy to share his basketball court with them. I was just happy to have warm enough weather to play outside.

Rick had to work part of the weekend. He is really liking working for the hospital. He got to shock a person's heart. He also

gets to use his Spanish on occasions. I think

he looks really good in scrubs.

My parents are remodeling their kitchen so, I had them over for Sunday dinner. That way they could eat a real meal. It was really fun. I finally had a reason to use my china. It was the first time for me to be able to use it. When we got married I put it in storage while we lived in Cedar City and just barely unpacked it when we moved in. The last time the china was used was actually in the house we are in now. My great grandparents use to live in the house, and the china belonged to my great grandma Rubye before me. It was like the China never left home.

Rick and I are still working on the garden. While Rick watered, Haley snapped a pic of my growing bump. Also our tomatoes joined the Air Force in order to stay warm during the crazy spring weather. Hope all is well and you had a great weekend too.

The weather in the spring is crazy. It was chilly this morning, great this afternoon, and now it has gotten really windy. Rick and I are working on our very first garden together. Today my grandpa was kind enough to come and till the plot so we can start planting. Rick has already planted the fruit section of the yard. I just laughed at him. Everything he planted takes years to mature and seeing how we don't plan on living here too long we will never be able to enjoy the "fruits" of his labor. I think he was just excited to have something a little more permanent he can work on. We got the baby's crib and changing table assembled. It is stuck in our spare bedroom with the rest of our odds and ends. One day I will get around to clearing that room out so the baby can actually have a place to sleep. For now he/she is happy chilling out in my tummy. My belly gets bigger everyday. Unfortunately my pants get tighter at the same time. Hope all is well with you!

So blogging, I'm horrible at this. I know so many people that are dedicated and have a new blog every two days or so. I am not that person. I am going to be lucky to remember to write once a month.
Rick and I are doing very well. We are really enjoying living in the country. Rick bought a basketball standard for his birthday. The weather is finally warm enough that we can really enjoy playing with it. He is even nice enough to lower the height from 10ft to 8ft when I play with him.
The baby is cooking really well. At my last Dr's appointment the Doc let rick find the heartbeat on the baby. It was fun having Rick poke around my belly looking for a beat.
