Pictures with the kids

I was looking to get a picture of my pregnant belly at 34 weeks so I gave Katie the camera. She got a few good shots but mostly everything was blurry. Luckily the camera has a decent timer setting and we were able to snap a pic of the belly along with a few shots of my cute kids.

Easter 2012

Ok so I know that Easter was a while ago.

Katie and Brady both participated in Katie’s preschool’s egg hunt and breakfast. Brady was so excited to be included with the big kids. Katie was just excited about the candy.

We then went to Grandpa Jones’ house for the weekend to enjoy the holiday with him. The kids went to our old ward’s primary Easter activity. They had a lesson, made a craft, ate a snack, and hunted eggs. Both kids were worn out after the event. We were able to eat a yummy dinner with grandpa and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Spring time

Oh how I love spring!!! The weather has been incredible lately. The temps have been in the 70’s and the sun shines most of the days. We do get a few thunderstorms in the evenings but I don’t mind because I sleep through most of them.

The weather has put all the trees into blossom. Rick and the kids have been busy playing outside, planting our mini garden, and mowing the lawn. Katie loves our neighbor’s tree. She loves to shout “purple tree” every time we go outside.

School Fun

Katie’s preschool did an international week. When they learned about Italy the class went on a field trip to the local Pizza Hut. The kids were able to see how pizza is made and spend a few minutes touring the kitchen and freezer. Best of all they all got to enjoy eating some pizza in the end. I really do like how interactive her education has been this year. They also had school pictures which I’ve included.

Going to the Dentist

Katie had her first trip to the dentist in March. She was a spectacular patient. She opened her mouth extra wide and didn’t have any cavities. She even said it tickled when the dentist cleaned her teeth. I am so proud of her!
