Day 3 and Day 4 Santee

Day 3 was a Sunday and we decided that driving an hour to church then sitting 3 hours for church and then another hour back was not feasible with 5 kids so we decided to hold a mini church in our condo. It was a lot of fun. We had Rick give a talk and Chloe shared a scripture. We sang as a group and did some prayers. It was nice. That afternoon during naptime the older kids were able to sit and watch a church video and we just relaxed all day.  Great way to spend the Sabbath an share it with our friends. We watched all the kids while the McArthur’s attended a class that morning, played WII in the afternoon and decided to go for a walk that evening. We went over an old freeway bridge that was turned into a walking path. It spanned the entire lake.

Day 4 we hit the lake. The McArthur’s arranged a boat for us and we all loaded up for a great day on the water. Katie was really good in her lifejacket. She even went for a couple rides on the tube with daddy. She loved swimming underneath the boat. (it was a pontoon boat) Rick got sunburned and cut his finger, we managed to get the anchor stuck, and chop a tie rope in the propeller. Other than that just a lot of sun and fun.
