Balloons

A favorite summer tradition for me is going to see the hot air balloons. During the Provo freedom festival they launch hot air balloons early in the morning. You can walk around the balloons as they fill them up. Then once all of the balloons are launched they return to the field to play games. They throw bean bags at an X from the air and joust large balloon suspended in the air. The games don't always work. Sometimes the air currents push the balloons away from the field and you don't get much of a show. That was not the case this year. The balloons were able to maneuver over the field multiple times. Even though Brady didn't feel well it was a beautiful morning in Utah. The smoke had cleared for the morning and it was worth getting up.
