So it was a first for everyone but Rick. Well lets be honest he was really little when he went to Disney World so he didn’t really remember it so it might as well be a first for all of us.
We drove into the Magic Kingdom. We were going to rent a stroller for Katie and Brady and quickly decided not to do so. It made for a long day hauling all 2 kiddos around but it was so much fun watching their faces. It was a great way to celebrate Rick’s graduation. Thank you to my parents for making the trip possible. It was so much fun and my children ask all the time when they can go back.
We took the monorail into the park. We explored the whole park. The kids loved riding the rides and meeting the characters. It was hot but lots of fun. Katie rode splash mountain 3 times and loved the everything. Trevor was a trooper. He spent most of the day sitting or standing in line but he stayed happy. We watched the electric light parade and watched the fireworks over Tom Sawyer island. The kids were exhausted but wanted to take the Ferry back to the car. Great day one!
